Your First Visit to the Women's Fertility Center

When you call to make your first appointment, certain preliminary information will be asked of you. In order to make your initial visit as productive as possible, you should make arrangements to have your medical records sent to us for review prior to your first visit. Our staff will provide you with the information necessary to do this.

Patients who are being evaluated for possible infertility disorders are encouraged to bring their partners to the first appointment.

During your visit, a complete medical history will be taken and physical and pelvic examinations will be conducted. Depending on the nature of your case, certain tests such as cultures or ultrasounds may be performed at that time.

The physician will discuss with you and your partner the course of testing and treatment indicated by the results of the initial exams and tests. You should plan to spend at least one hour at your initial visit.

Open Communication
In an environment of trust and mutual respect, each patient and their partner feel free to ask questions at any time. We promise to answer every question asked and offer information to assure the fact that you are well informed. The Women's Fertility

Center builds partnerships with every patient, her spouse, and her referring physician. As a team, we all work together to achieve the best possible outcome.
